In our first session, we’ll start with a fun warm-up and go over basic movement and coordination to see where you’re at. We’ll work on core basketball skills like dribbling, layups, and shooting with a focus on building comfort and confidence. I’ll ask about your goals—whether it’s making your first team, improving for next season, or just learning the game. From there, I’ll create a plan to help you grow step-by-step and enjoy the process.
Now it’s time to apply skills in live, game-like situations. Players work on reacting to defenders, finishing through contact, and making smart plays under pressure. This phase boosts basketball IQ, confidence, and overall readiness for real competition.
In this phase, we begin adding complexity—introducing combo moves, extended shooting range, and decision-making elements. Players work more on weak-hand development and basic game reads. The emphasis is on improving execution and building game-ready skills.
This phase focuses on building basic fundamentals like ball handling, layups, footwork, and proper shooting form. Players will develop coordination, confidence, and familiarity with basketball movements. The goal is to create a strong foundation for future skill development.
In the first session, we’ll start with a dynamic warm-up and mobility check to assess how your body moves. Then we’ll run through advanced skill drills—ball handling, shooting, and finishing—to evaluate your current level. We’ll also talk about your long-term goals, whether that’s making varsity, playing college ball, or going pro. From there, I’ll map out a personalized training plan to help you get there.
