About your basketball coach

I've been playing basketball for 15 years and began training seriously at 16 while working alongside my dad, a former pro player and college-level coach. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been focused on athletic performance and mobility training, and I’m certified in both athletic performance and corrective exercises. My goal is to keep athletes skilled, strong, and injury-free. I also offer videography and marketing services to help you stand out and grow your presence on the digital side of the game—because in today’s world, performance goes beyond the court.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn our first session, we’ll start with a fun warm-up and go over basic movement and coordination to see where you’re at. We’ll work on core basketball skills like dribbling, layups, and shooting with a focus on building comfort and confidence. I’ll ask about your goals—whether it’s making your first team, improving for next season, or just learning the game. From there, I’ll create a plan to help you grow step-by-step and enjoy the process.
Lesson 11+Now it’s time to apply skills in live, game-like situations. Players work on reacting to defenders, finishing through contact, and making smart plays under pressure. This phase boosts basketball IQ, confidence, and overall readiness for real competition.
Lesson 4-10In this phase, we begin adding complexity—introducing combo moves, extended shooting range, and decision-making elements. Players work more on weak-hand development and basic game reads. The emphasis is on improving execution and building game-ready skills.
Lesson 2-3This phase focuses on building basic fundamentals like ball handling, layups, footwork, and proper shooting form. Players will develop coordination, confidence, and familiarity with basketball movements. The goal is to create a strong foundation for future skill development.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonIn the first session, we’ll start with a dynamic warm-up and mobility check to assess how your body moves. Then we’ll run through advanced skill drills—ball handling, shooting, and finishing—to evaluate your current level. We’ll also talk about your long-term goals, whether that’s making varsity, playing college ball, or going pro. From there, I’ll map out a personalized training plan to help you get there.
Lesson 11+Everything gets applied to real, competitive scenarios through live drills, situational reads, and small-sided games. Players enhance their basketball IQ, build confidence under pressure, and learn how to consistently make the right play. The focus is on transferring all the skills into actual game performance.
Lesson 4-10Now we push the skill ceiling—introducing advanced dribble combos, creative finishes, and game-speed shooting off movement. Players work on reading defenders, reacting on the fly, and developing versatile scoring options. This phase turns polished fundamentals into elite tools.
Lesson 2-3This phase focuses on tightening up core fundamentals with increased speed, precision, and intensity. Players sharpen their handle under pressure, refine shooting mechanics, and improve finishing through contact. It’s all about cleaning up the basics to prepare for high-level execution

Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with kids, I adapt each session to ensure it’s fun, engaging, and age-appropriate while still focusing on skill development. I use simple, game-like drills that keep them moving and motivated, incorporating plenty of positive reinforcement to build confidence. I adjust the pace based on their attention spans and abilities, ensuring they stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed. My approach focuses on creating a supportive environment where kids feel comfortable making mistakes, learning, and enjoying the game as they grow their skills.

Working with teenagersWhen working with teenagers, I tailor each session to match their skill level, focusing on developing more advanced techniques while keeping things challenging and engaging. For players serious about pursuing college basketball, the sessions become more structured, with an emphasis on game-specific skills, high-level drills, and mental toughness. I work closely with each player to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, creating a training plan that addresses both physical and tactical growth. As the intensity increases, we also focus on building discipline, refining work ethic, and preparing players for the next step in their basketball journey, whether that’s high school varsity or college recruitment.
