Beginner training plan
Your first trainingI like to see where they are physically in basketball and how their body mechanics work. Most do not realize how much the lower extremities can affect how we play basketball so it’s more of doing the drills so I can see what I am working with.
Training 2-3This is where we establish the foundation whether it’s for dribbling, shooting or to dunk with isometric work and power drills. We work on the mechanics of shooting and dribbling as well.
Training 4-10Then we do similar drills but slowly add to each drill as the students get stronger and better.
Training 11+We start to work on game scenarios and why we do these drills.
Advanced training plan
Your first trainingI first analyze any issue such as underlying injuries or movements that need to be worked on and also see the strength and athleticism levels in the first session.
Training 2-3We work on the foundation and start to build up the strength in weak areas
Training 4-10We start to add onto different basic skill
