With three decades devoted to basketball, I cultivate players' potential through focused skill-building and strategic insight. My comprehensive approach ensures athletes develop both technical mastery and a profound love for the game. I am currently the high school basketball coach at Lincoln High School. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to see where they are physically in basketball and how their body mechanics work. Most do not realize how much the lower extremities can affect how we play basketball so it’s more of doing the drills so I can see what I am working with.
Lesson 11+We start to work on game scenarios and why we do these drills.
Lesson 4-10Then we do similar drills but slowly add to each drill as the students get stronger and better.
Lesson 2-3This is where we establish the foundation whether it’s for dribbling, shooting or to dunk with isometric work and power drills. We work on the mechanics of shooting and dribbling as well.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI first analyze any issue such as underlying injuries or movements that need to be worked on and also see the strength and athleticism levels in the first session.
Lesson 11+We work on advanced skills whether on ball, shooting or athleticism
Lesson 4-10We start to add onto different basic skill
Lesson 2-3We work on the foundation and start to build up the strength in weak areas

Youth players
Working with kidsI have worked with children in the past and I always focus on the foundation of basketball and we work on fundamentals.

Working with teenagersI want to see the baseline of their skills and then we focus on adding each skill.

What you need to bringStudents can bring water, towel and basketball if they want.

What I can bringI can bring a ball, cones, pop up defenders, length pads and also equipment to work on explosiveness
