About your basketball coach

My name is Jordan Burns and I am a professional basketball player from San Antonio, TX. I played my college career at Colgate University and had a historic career. I then went on to receive a Spurs training camp deal as a rookie, played for Austin Spurs and Maine Celtics in the NBA G League. Since I’ve played overseas in 7 different countries around the world. I’m here to give back to my community while also helping kids fulfill their dreams while playing the game we love. I look forward to helping you in not only your basketball journey but hopefully your life journey as well.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor my beginners what you can expect is an introduction to fundamental basketball altogether. I will teach you basic terminology that we will use on the floor and also advice on shooting form/ball handling technique. Every individual player has their own style of game so no matter how you move, there is a way for you to get better in a multitude of ways.
Lesson 2-3Every lesson will build on each other as we go. Basketball is a simple game but it’s hard to master. You can teach the same thing in different ways from different areas of the court. I will find the best way that works for you and we will attack the training in that way.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFor advanced players, I will be teaching all the things I know about the game. The intricate details that can take your game to the next level. I think for me personally there is so much i can say here I can’t name it all. I think by throughly checking my background and even game film you can tell the things I know about the game. I’m also a Point Guard so my ability to lead, teach and understand the game is the highest of any position on the court. I can teach pretty much any aspect of the game, any position.

Ramiro
The workout was great! We went over the fundamentals of the game while adding in important minor details. Court recognition and jump shooting were the main focus of this workout. Would definitely come again.
