Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe want to establish the skill level with the basics. So layup drills, Mikan drills, basic shooting drills, ball handling practice and passing.
Lesson 11+By these lessons we start tracking our stats during lessons and being efficient. Making a certain number of shots before moving on to the next spot or drill. While tailoring our workouts based on someone’s skill and position they play to maximize the players natural size and abilities and build upon them.
Lesson 4-10Now that we have established our foundation we start to be more specific with each lesson. Some lessons we will focus on our finishing and floater package. Other lessons we will focus on ball handling and the use of pick and rolls. Then some conditioning shooting workouts where we build on our shooting skills while increasing stamina. Catch and shoot drills, shooting off of downscreens, Steph curry drill, and 21 shooting drill.
Lesson 2-3These lessons we want to expand a bit more on the basics while incorporating some conditioning. Catch and shoot drills on the move or while running, layup drills off of cutting from different positions on the floor(wing and corners), ball handling burnout drills.

Lesson 11+Want to start perfecting go to moves we can use in certain in game situations. Moves and shots a player can use at any moment. Drill them until they are comfortable and become advanced at them. Repetition repetition repetition!
