As a lot of us know, first impressions are important. Building confidence, trust, and a real connection with the player(s) will be the most important part! While working on those we will explore the players natural abilities, such as what THEY prefer to do on the court, what THEY believe their position is, and figure out what THEY want to work most at!
As an open minded person, i would like any and all players to speak their mind during ANY workout, on things they believe they should/ need to work on. Once the ball gets rolling we will apply everything from the first 10 lessons as well as more 1 on 1 coaching if necessary.
multiple conditioning & strength, dribbling, shooting, passing, defensive, and offensive drills. As well as live play after.
Based on the first lesson we will apply those answers to some conditioning, physical strength workouts, and positions based walkthroughs.
Figuring out what the player(s) believe their strong suits are, as well as what the biggest "gaps" in their game are. Then applying that knowledge to skill & position based workouts, hoping to get the ball rolling & the player invested.
Any personalized workouts they, or I have in mind, specifically based on the players skillset, strong suits, and "weak links"- ANY gaps in a players game, can possibly be filled with the right teaching & the correct amount of work put in!
Position based defensive and offensive drills, as well as adding physical strength training in, building diligence through the player. many conditioning workouts, footwork drills, offensive & defensive "sets", and working on personal attributes, in hope of building confidence on & off the court.
Extra attention to physical strength & endurance capabilities. Using that we will work on building them, in game like structures. Conditioning included.
