Beginner training plan
Your first lessonSimple skills evaluation. See how well or if they can dribble. For example, can they execute simple dribble moves, like a between-the-legs crossover, a behind-the-back dribble, or a spin dribble. Shoot some shots (layups, free throws, etc.) to assess that ability. Provide some quick pointers and things to work on for next time.
Lesson 11+Same as above
Lesson 4-10The rest of the lessons will follow a similar track of review, build and add.
Lesson 2-3Based on the 1st lesson and the homework given, do a quick review and assessment. From there, we build on that block and add another fundamental to develop. Give more homework for next time.

Youth players
Working with kidsMy trainings are designed for children of varying skill level, whether beginners or advanced.

Working with teenagersSame as above, my trainings are designed for children and teenagers. The only thing that needs to be tweaked may be the degree of difficulty in drills, but the overall plan doesn't change much.

Coach Eric was my son's first 8-10 yr old youth league basketball coach. My son is slightly autistic and was very shy and a beginner when he started, but Coach Eric was very tolerant and patient with him. Coach worked with my son for several years until his teenage years. I would definitely recommend Eric to any parent looking for a coach to work with their kids, especially if they are young and/or beginners.

I started working with Coach Eric when I was 10 years old. He also helped train my two younger sisters. He taught us the game and helped us work on our fundamentals. We all got much better at basketball because of Coach Eric.

Coach Eric was instrumental in helping me develop my game from when I was 11 years old, up until I graduated high school. I was a 4 year starter at guard for my high school team.

I worked with coach when I was 11 years old. He helped me gain confidence in myself by making me play against boys and showing I was just as good as they were.

I was very new to basketball and Coach Eric taught me the fundamentals of how to dribble, pass and shoot.
