About your basketball coach

With a lifetime passion for basketball, I bring years of experience as both a player and a coach to every training session. I’ve coached a wide range of players, from youth teams in AAU and at the YMCA to dedicated one on one training. My coaching philosophy is built on the belief that greatness starts with a solid foundation. Then skill development, conditioning, mental toughness/IQ, and competitiveness. I train athletes of all ages and skill levels. Let’s get to work.

I’ve been working with coach P for months now, and it has been a great decision. Before I thought I was already working hard but he showed me the difference between hard work and training. I’ve gotten quicker, and more confident in my play. He also pushes me mentally. He teaches me to have fun while pushing myself.

My basketball coach is really awesome. Before I started training, I would just shoot around and do whatever. Now I actually know how to do things the right way. He teaches me to keep my head when I dribble and hands up on defense. He makes practice fun and a challenge. Because of him I am less nervous in games.

As an adult who just wanted to improve and see what else I could learn. Working with a trainer was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I hadn’t played consistently in years but I realized my shooting was inconsistent and conditioning wasn’t where it should be. I appreciate how professional and detailed he is. Every drill has a purpose. He understands the mindset of an adult athlete and pushes me but is realistic. If you’re an adult who wants to elevate your game I highly recommend working with him.

As the parent of an 8 year old, I honestly can’t say enough good things about our child’s trainer. When we first signed up for youth basketball I didn’t expect much. But Coach Robinson was great. So much so that we continued with some extra training after the kids season was over. He is incredibly patient and knows how to work with young kids. At 8 your attention span can be short but he keeps practices engaging, structured, and positive. What stands out is how he builds confidence. My child used to be shy during games and hesitant to handle the ball. Now I see a noticeable difference. Beyond skills he teaches sportsmanship, listening skills, and discipline.

What I like most about coach is he doesn’t just throw drills at me, he explains why we’re doing them. He breaks down my form and points out small details.
