Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThink of this lesson as an evaluation. I will evaluate you and you will evaluate me to see if I am a good fit for you. Through a bunch of drills and a talk with the student, I will develop a custom plan to use in future lessons. My primary goal of this lesson is to fully evaluate the student and understand what specific areas of improvement are most desired.
Lesson 11+Continued application of the training plan with a more “big picture” approach.
Lesson 4-10Continued appreciation of the training plan with adjustments made based on improvements. This is when students will begin to see results and can transition to different skills if necessary.
Lesson 2-3During these lessons, the custom plan can begin to be applied. I will try various teaching methods and drills to adjust to the student’s strengths and weaknesses.
What you need to bringWater, appropriate shoes/ clothes, a basketball (if you have one), a great attitude.
What I can bringBasketball, relevant drill equipment (i.e cones)
