Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIntroducing myself and finding out how advanced the athlete is. Making sure that we are comfortable with each other and talking about what they want to get out of the sessions. Coming up with the plan on making you the best that you can be.
Lesson 11+I will start to put you in situations to where you will have to react without thinking about the tools that you have learned. Allow you to play the sport that you love and compete with confidence.
Lesson 4-10Working on drills to enhance what you already know and continue to condition the body as well as the mind.
Lesson 2-3Conditioning and basic footwork and fundamentals.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI will observe you. Afterwards I will ask you what exactly you feel that you need and want to work on. I would then break down what I saw and we will discuss how to address all concerns and issues and start the process of more growth. I will video tape as well because I want you to be able to see what I do.
Lesson 11+I will arrange for you to play live against other players and allow you to see and feel where all of the work has brought you. This will be videotaped because I want you to see the difference from the beginning to the new beginning!
Lesson 4-10I will challenge you to challenge yourself. Put you through some things that are out of the box but definitely necessary to get you to where you want and need to be.
Lesson 2-3Concentrate on your weakest points of your game. Get you comfortable with being uncomfortable. Drills depending on what are your weaknesses. My job will be to get you mentally comfortable and ready.
Youth players
Working with kidsI’m very good with good with kids. I’ve been coaching since I was 20 years old. It just seems like a natural thing to me.
Working with teenagersI work well teens. They need different boundaries and lines but we all need to the discipline that it takes to follow instructions and order. These are the best times.
What you need to bringAn open and willing mind to learn and have fun at the same time. Trust that the process won’t happen over night but it will happen with your hard work and determination.
