I will assess your current skill level and interview you about your goals. Then I will begin the warm up and the exercises needed for that session.
Basketball: session starts with, dribble drills, lateral movement speed training, vertical jump training, and post finish training. 3 point shooting drills from high percentage spots on the court. And we will incorporate advanced dribbling into shot selection. Depending on your athleticism, I will teach you advanced dunking.
MMA: warmup 3 min jump rope, shadow boxing with weights in hands 2-3 rounds, pad work 5 rounds five min each. The remainder of lesson will be open for specific moves you want to learn or practice. I will also provide you with all advanced moves I know for each specific fighting style depending on skill level
Basketball: we still start sessions with 2 ball dribble drills, free throw, and post finish training. We will also ad misdirection drills (ankle breakers) and advanced defensive tactics.
MMA: Session starts with warm up and stretching, “shadow boxing“ with weights in hands for 2 rounds. Pad work for 4 rounds, 3 minutes each. Finish with defense drills, I will share a new advanced technique with each session before cool down
Basketball: 2 ball dribble drills 10 minutes, then 10 min free throw/ elbow shot drills, 10 min post finish training, remainder of lesson is then open for detail adjustments and cool down.
MMA: 5 minutes footwork drill and warm up. Then we will go over fundamentals of fighting stance for your chosen combat sport and the techniques you will be using. Next is three rounds of pads at 3 minutes each. Next 10 minutes of defense drills, last 10 mins of the session I like to share one “fancy” or higher level move before cool down.
