Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn my first lesson, i’d love to get to know who I’m training. Building a personal relationship goes a long way in developing a trust factor between a player and a coach.
Lesson 4-10from lessons 4-10. The player will already notice a substantial difference within he/she game. As someone who has been coached for the last 11 years, I possess a good amount of knowledge on what it takes to become not just an athlete, but a team player.
Lesson 2-3Skills will include;
cone drills
off ball drills
passing drills
shooting drills
defensive drills
footwork skills
lateral quickness drills
dribbling skills
weight room tips- if desired
basketball IQ training
Youth players
Working with kidsTeaching kids a sport at a young goes a long way in helping them understand what it means to be an athlete. An athlete is not just defined of an individuals athletic ability, more specifically a combination between off court ethics, along with what it means to be a team player. If coached with me, not only will I be able to improve their game, but would also teach them through the adversities that I faced as an athlete, and how to overcome them.
