Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will focus on the fundamentals to preparing the body to throw through proper warm-ups. Specifically, a ground mobility circuit, a dynamic stretch, and pre-throw specific band work. After we establish the preparation for our body I will play catch with my athlete and coach them through a throwing routine we will use moving forward. I will also take time to have one-on-one conversation about their goals moving forward as well.
Lesson 11+At this point, I will have had an adequate amount of time to fully evaluate our athlete and start applying logistics to our regime and translate particular baseball statistics to better understand our unique athlete.
Lesson 4-10By now, we should know our strengths and weaknesses. These next lessons will now have tailored drills that will help reinforce and correct our strengths and weaknesses.
Lesson 2-3We should have established a proper routine and find comfort in completing them efficiently with the correct intentions. From here we start building up our throwing volume and finding the limits our athlete is correcting at in order to tailor the next few lessons moving forward.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFirst lessons will include an assessment in order to find our strengths and weaknesses. We will also introduce a routine warm up and pre-throw regime.
Lesson 11+By now we will have gathered enough data and time in order to do reassessments and tinker with our training as needed. Also, I will be able to introduce the mental aspects of the game as well as outside mental health practices to build great habits.
