Youth players
Working with kidsWhen I work with kids, I keep baseball fun and engaging while teaching the basic fundamentals like throwing, catching, and hitting. I use simple drills such as target toss, soft toss, and base running relays to build coordination and confidence. I keep instructions short and positive, making sure every player feels included and successful. My main goal is to help them develop a love for the game while learning teamwork, focus, and the importance of effort.

Working with teenagersWhen I teach teenagers, I focus on developing proper mechanics, game awareness, and mental toughness. Lessons include more advanced drills like live hitting, situational defense, and base-running strategy. I challenge them to think like ballplayers—understanding positioning, timing, and communication on the field. I also emphasize accountability, consistency, and preparation so they can perform confidently in games and at the next level of competition.

I highly recommend Noble Ortega for individualized baseball instruction. Noble is both highly skilled in how to develop your player and extremely positive and personable. Noble takes pride in your child’s success and shows this by attending their games on his personal time. I feel like Noble is part of my son’s network of “caring” helping him reach the next level of play. Noble has trained my son at 1st base, 2nd base as well as outfield and hitting. I can’t say enough good things. Noble not only plays high level college ball, but comes from a baseball family where his brother also plays college ball and his father coached at the collegiate level.

I learned so much this season because Coach really helped me with my throwing and footwork. He notices little things and helps me fix them without making me feel bad. I can tell he really wants us to get better. Thanks, Coach!

Coach Ortega is the best because he believes in us even when we don’t believe in ourselves. When I kept dropping grounders, he stayed with me after practice and helped me until I got it. Now I can field way better. He’s nice but also pushes us to work hard.

Coach Ortega makes baseball really fun! He explains things in a way I actually understand, and he’s always patient even when I mess up. I used to be scared of batting, but now it’s my favorite part. He cheers for us a lot and it makes me feel confident.

Sometimes practices before were boring with other coaches, but Coach Ortega makes them exciting. We do drills that feel like games, and he teaches us tricks that make baseball easier. He listens to us too, and that makes me feel important.
