Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to learn about what they already know fundamentally and what they are hoping to learn from me. Fielding, hitting, pitching? Then, we’ll do a fundamental test related to the information I was given.
Lesson 11+Focus on translating the things learned to a game situation. Situational fielding and hitting. Creating game plans and possible scouting reports.
Lesson 4-10Continue fundamentals partnered with higher level skills related to their goal. Add new drills and put the fundamentals they have learned to use in live play situations.
Lesson 2-3Focusing on fundamentals and repetition for the goals of the athlete. I will have many drills we will work on together and some they can work on their own at home.
