My first private baseball lesson is relaxed, positive, and designed for all players. We’ll work on the basics like throwing, catching, and hitting off a tee in a fun, low-pressure environment. There’s no testing or tryouts — kids learn through play while I get a feel for their skill level and confidence. By the end of the lesson, your child will feel more comfortable on the field and ready to build from there.
By Lesson 11, your athlete has built a strong foundation in throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting, along with learning how to properly take care of their arm. This final session focuses on reinforcing those skills, building confidence, and giving them clear direction on what to work on moving forward. The goal is to make sure they leave not only improved, but excited to keep playing and developing their game.
Lessons four through ten focus on continued skill development and long-term growth. Players will keep building on the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and fielding while refining proper mechanics at an age-appropriate pace. As lessons progress, baseball rules and game understanding will be introduced and reinforced throughout. The goal is to help each player develop stronger fundamentals, better consistency, and a deeper understanding of the game as their confidence continues to grow.
Lessons two and three build on the first session with a focus on developing fundamentals and consistency. We’ll continue working on throwing mechanics and catching while spending more time on hitting off a tee and introducing soft toss to improve contact, timing, and bat control. Structure is added gradually and adjusted to each player’s comfort level. The goal is to help your child feel more confident and ready to keep building their skills.
