Well then jump into either hitting, catching or fielding drills and at least cover hitting and catching or hitting and fielding depending on player.
I will be critiqing and learning your play style while we practice to see what we need to continue to improve.
Depending on player type we’ll do drills to improve your game and see what needs work.
For example-
Hitting off a tee- high, low, middle, inside, outside, while controlling where you put the ball.
Fielding- I’ll hit fungo to you and see how you perform through cones and we’ll work on short hops for backhands and forehands while moving through the ball correctly and focus on the correct throwing path.
Catching- we’ll work on framing, blocking, and receiving correctly with the right fundamentals. I’ll toss weighted balls for framing and receiving to strengthen your wrist and ability’s. I’ll toss tennis balls to you without a glove for better and softer receiving. We’ll work on correct blocking fundamentals and drills like around the world and conditioning exercises to make you a fast, reliable brick wall behind the plate!
Those are some basic examples of drills and we can get more complex based off your skill level. We will continue these drills through lessons and advance the more we go!
