Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is all about building confidence while evaluating the athlete’s current skill level. I’ll assess hitting, throwing, fielding, and overall movement patterns to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Athletes will learn proper fundamentals through simple drills, and parents will leave with a clear understanding of our development plan moving forward.
Lesson 2-3Lessons two and three focus on creating consistent movement patterns. We reinforce proper mechanics through game-like drills while introducing timing, balance, and body control. Athletes will begin developing muscle memory and gain confidence through repetition and positive feedback.
Lesson 4-10During lessons four through ten, athletes begin applying their improved mechanics in more challenging situations. We continue refining fundamentals while introducing higher-level concepts such as timing, approach, pitch recognition, and situational baseball or softball. Every lesson is personalized to the athlete’s goals and progress.
Lesson 11+Long-term development is where real growth happens. Once a strong foundation is built, lessons become highly individualized using video analysis, advanced drills, and game-specific training. My goal is to help every athlete develop efficient mechanics, build confidence, and prepare to compete at the highest level they aspire to reach—whether that’s making a school team, earning a college opportunity, or beyond.
