- Basic account details (name, email, phone number)
- Booking history and lesson activity
- Coach profile information
- Payment or payout information processed by trusted partners
- Device, usage, and analytics data used to improve platform performance
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to operate, maintain, and improve the platform, including:
- Processing bookings, payments, and payouts
- Displaying coach listings and availability
- Enabling chat, notifications, and scheduling tools
- Supporting safety features, verification, and background checks
- Providing customer support
- Improving the platform through analytics and usage insights
All data use aligns with our Terms and the incorporated Privacy Policy.
When We Share Information With Third-Party Providers
TeachMe.To may share limited information with trusted service partners only when necessary to run core functions of the platform, such as:
- Payment processing (e.g., Stripe, DOTS)
- Identity verification and background checks
- Messaging, notifications, and operational services
- Analytics providers that help improve platform performance
We do not sell personal information.
We share data only with partners required to provide TeachMe.To’s essential services.
Your Choices & Communication Preferences
Under Terms §20 and related privacy disclosures, you have control over:
- Marketing email preferences
- SMS/text message settings
- Notification choices inside the app
- Requesting access, updates, or deletion of certain data (subject to eligibility and security steps)
You can adjust many preferences in your account settings or by contacting Support.
Text Messages
When you opt in to text messages, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent. We use them only to send the texts you asked for, such as lesson information, booking details, and messages from the TeachMe.To booking assistant.
- We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We share your mobile number only with the service providers that deliver our texts, and only to deliver them.
- Coaches can choose to get marketing texts. This choice is optional and is not required to use TeachMe.To.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts, reply STOP to any text from TeachMe.To. For help, reply HELP or email support@teachme.to.
