
I have extensive background with students in preschool up to 5th grade. In addition, I have proven success when working with students on the autism spectrum on their ELA, Math, science, and social studies skills. My teaching licensure is in preschool to 3rd grade. I am also certified in Orton-Gillingham.



I have over a decade of teaching experience and a Master's degrees in education with a focus on Reading and Literacy. I am passionate about helping students who struggle with reading. As an Intervention Specialist, I assist students who have been identified as needing additional support through a special education program.

Iβm an experienced educator, educational technology leader, and project management professional with over a decade of experience supporting K-12 schools. I began my career teaching 4th and 6th grade, where I developed a passion for helping students build strong academic foundations and a love of learning. I also hold Indianaβs Literacy Endorsement based on the Science of Reading, providing me with a strong understanding of evidence-based literacy instruction.


I am a graduate of Bennington College where I received my BA in Literature, Creative Writing, and French. Currently, I am in pursuit of a MA from University of Michigan, studying poetry at the Helen Zell Writers' Program. A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, reading and writing has always been my passion and my chosen profession.

I hold an MSLIS and M.Ed., and I have coached writers from elementary school through adulthood: essays, college applications, creative writing, and professional communication. I am also a working writer myself, which means I teach writing from the inside out.

I have a B. A in Psychology, I am a Certified Recovery Support Specialist, Youth & Adult Mental Health Aider, CPR/First Aid. I have been a tutor for 3 years, specifically in topics of Elementary Reading and Math from Pre-K-5th grade, but I can assist with other subjects provided the focus area the assistance is needed. I have also been an after school instructor for cooking and steam classes. I enjoy helping children gain confidence in knowledge to progress in academics and life journey.
