I'm a premedical student at Dartmouth college. I have a strong passion for writing and I have helped many students get started on their college applications through private tutoring. I believe that everyone has a story to tell- you just need to learn how to put it down on paper. With me, you should expect to recieve direct and concise feedback on how to improve your writing, no matter what skill level you start off with.

I’ve been an ELA teacher for 13 years. I’ve taught composition at the University of Illinois Chicago, English Language Arts in Chicago high schools, and I’ve been tutoring online since 2020. I have a Masters of Arts in English education and another MA in English literature. I work with grade school students between 6 and 12 grade on essay writing, test prep, vocabulary and grammar. I also work with people who are learning English to help them reduce their accents and improve their English.

I'm a writer, editor, and storyteller. My health writing exists in the form of articles, essays, educational handouts, and video scripts. My personal nonfiction writing has been presented at various events throughout New York City and published in books. I work with students to help them conceptualize their stories, organize their outlines, write with clarity, and edit with ruthless precision. The ultimate goal is to end up where self-expression meets informed and inspired reader engagement.
