"Darian is patient, helpful, and kind even when I feel uncoordinated and clumsy. He’s strengthened my technique with precision. He’s quite particular about the technique, but it works. One thing I need to work on now is my own stamina, and then i’ll be a noticeably stronger tennis player than I was before I started meeting with Darian.

I've grown up playing tennis since age 4, climbed up to a top 50 player in texas U16, reached a 10 UTR and played line 1 for my Varsity HS team. Went to Ucla and began coaching over 15 kids. I coached kids of all skill levels, but my style of coaching mainly benefits kids who are looking to hit a lot of balls and play points/sets. Obviously I tailor my coaching to all skill levels, but those looking for more intense hitting will benefit more.

I'm a tennis instructor with 3.5+ years of hands-on coaching experience and over 10 years of playing semi-professionally. While coaching at Lake Tennis Academy, I had over 30 clients at any given time, working with a range of ages and skill levels. While I primarily worked with kids ages 4-15, I also have extensive experience coaching older clients as well. Working at an academy taught me the importance of being social, outgoing, patient, and genuinely connecting with every player I teach.

"Elena absolutely loves Chris. She talks about him all the time asking when her next lesson is. Considering she has never played before taking lessons, Chris already has her hitting a 2 handed backhand with top spin after a few lessons. He also was extremely helpful in educating us on equipment and getting us set up at reasonable prices.
