I have been playing and studying chess for the better part of a decade. I have taught students of all ages, from young to old. I offer a hands-on experience, drawing from a combination of established chess literature and my own personal experience. I am passionate about the game and confident that I can help beginner to intermediate players become more confident in their play.

I teach chess by focusing on fundamentals, pattern recognition, and clear thinking rather than memorizing endless lines. My style is patient and practical: I help students understand opening principles, tactics, endgames, and how to make better decisions each move. I work best with beginner to advanced students who are motivated to improve, build confidence, and learn a more strategic approach to the game.
