Arvada's commitment to the sport is demonstrated by the Apex Simms Street Rec Center, a haven for pickleball players with 26 courts, including 24 outdoor and 2 indoor courts, catering to all skill levels and open to the public with a daily admission fee​. 

Littleton: A Friendly Pickleball Community

Littleton's sense of community shines with 14.29% of Colorado's pickleball coaches and 13.25% of bookings. It's a place where families and friends gather to enjoy the game together.

Denver: The Urban Pickleball Landscape

In Denver, pickleball thrives against the urban backdrop, with 14.29% of coaches and 12.05% of bookings. Denver's active residents have embraced pickleball, integrating it into the city's vibrant lifestyle.

Earlier this year, pickleball enthusiasts filed a proposal with the city for new indoor pickleball courts in Windsor, including a 3,550-square-foot pro shop for selling gear and 25,300 square feet for 10 pickleball courts. 

Meanwhile, Denver rec centers are responding to the pickleball proliferation with plans to introduce more courts — in January, Denver Parks and Recreation said it added 13 pickleball courts to seven recreation centers across the city. Today, pickleball fans can enjoy 66 indoor courts in Denver rec centers alone.

Wheat Ridge, with 9.52% of coaches and 8.43% of bookings, has stepped into the limelight with Colorado's largest indoor pickleball facility. 3rd Shot Pickleball officially opened its doors in January, offering 13 indoor courts for play seven days a week. Westminster blends its historical charm with a love for pickleball, representing 4.76% of coaches and 8.43% of the state's bookings, offering players a taste of history with their sport.

Greenwood Village: Exclusive Experiences in Pickleball

Greenwood Village, with its upscale living, offers exclusive pickleball experiences, comprising 4.76% of coaches and 7.23% of the state's bookings. 

Aurora: Cultivating Competitive Spirits

Though smaller in numbers, pickleball in Aurora is growing in popularity, comprising 4.76% of the state's coaches and contributing to 4.82% of the total bookings. The city's smaller share reflects a dedicated core of pickleball enthusiasts who play with heart.

Louisville: Home to National Pickleball Talent

Louisville may be modest in size, but its pickleball credentials are growing fast. This city, with 4.76% of Colorado's pickleball coaches and 4.82% of bookings, has recently made headlines thanks to one of its own. At just 19 years old, Louisville native Riley Bohnert has been selected to represent Team USA in the groundbreaking APP Atlantic Cup in Miami — the first international team competition for pickleball.
